A Living Archive: Honoring Our Stories, Ourselves
Hosted by Kanoa Arteaga
Creating a tangible account of our lives is an ancient practice. For as long as humans have been able to write, they’ve made it a point to record the details of their existence, who they were, what they cared about and the choices they made. This practice is especially important for trans and intersex people, whose stories have been omitted, drowned out or intentionally erased from the archives. Join us for an afternoon of memoir writing and the healing we might find in retelling our stories for ourselves.
You don’t have to identify as a writer for this workshop, any and all writing levels are welcome.
