Maddox Price is an award-winning journalist, photographer, personal essay writer and poet from Dallas. He relocated to Austin in 2015 to finish a degree in women’s and gender studies at UT. Price has freelanced for The Dallas Observer, The Dallas Voice, Jezebel.com, Listenhear.com, The Daily Texan, The Austin Chronicle, Do512 and worked as a LGBTQ Insider for The Dallas Morning News. As a non-binary transman Price’s passion is to transcend the binds between art and artist visibility within this unrepresented presentations in his community. Price works with analog and digital medias and has spent a great deal photographing musicians. Price’s latest endeavor is creating a self portrait project that correlates to each piece of writing.
