Nonbinary – agender
They/them

I’m Aire, a freelance artist seeking to lose all my money to art school. Realizing I’m nonbinary has made me feel even freer in my pursuit of art and has made me appreciate details that could slip through the cracks, unnoticed unless specifically searched for. I’m enthralled with the mystery and beauty in the world, and I want each piece of my work to be an experience, rich and deep, like peering into a portal and catching a glimpse of another dimension.

Artist Statement:

Home is where the heart is- and my heart lies in a bed of earth and moss. The forest has always been my sanctuary, and in this piece I strive to relate the sense of comfort I find in nature.

Nature has no bias, no judgement for who you are. There’s a peace in knowing that the trees don’t care about my gender or sexuality- my “otherness.” Home is where secret joys can be found in the most unlikely of hollows.
